<p>Very similar to previous campaigns, this campaign also has weekly cap of 100. Although we can increase it upto 175. As mentioned in above image Family Crests can be earned by doing repeatable quests in avernus. Mod 18’s campaign is very small and you can wrap it easily even with limitations of weekly haul which is also very easy to increase. You can keep a maximum 20,000 family crests with you after this it would not stack. </p>



<p><strong>Chaotic Writings :</strong> Above all, this is an elemental currency abundantly equivalent to previous modes of the game. Usually, There is store for specific campaign in the game. Avernus is not different from this. You can buy decent quality gears from campaign store of avernus which also has 1250 iLvL. And these are only class specific gears. You can buy these gears with chaotic writings only.&nbsp;</p>



<p>But there is a new twist in this mode. You can even spend these chaotic writings on <strong>Surprise Bag of Juma</strong> in Vallenhas Stronghold which provides you pretty decent gears like :&nbsp;</p>

<p>Very simple and easy, you just need to follow daily and weekly questline to earn plenty of Chaotic Writings. You can easily earn writings just in Vallenhas zone but if you follow the questline path then beware about that there would be a limit or cap on daily or weekly quests. So, you can never obtain an unlimited supply of writings only from quests.<br></p>



<p>You can easily get chaotic writings by killing rare monster and by doing Heroic Encounters. <p>The super fastest way to farm chaotic writings is to farm Heroic Encounter named <strong>Demonic Summing</strong>. Right now, this is one of the most famous tasks in neverwinter world. Its trending in world of vallenhas’s chat zone with the name of “<strong>APE</strong>”. you would see lots of people are saying “+ape” and “add for ape”. The Ape flood in chat zone is happening just to farm chaotic writings in easiest and simplest way.&nbsp;<br></p>

They have added a large number of new gears to buy with seal of fallen from seal trader. The entire process to obtain and stack seals are very much similar to previous campaigns. You can farm seal of fallen from epic dungeon queue and heroic encounters.&nbsp;</p>

<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading"><strong>Overview of Avernus Campaign Mod 18</strong></h2>



<p>First of all, we will talk a bit about the campaign <strong>Avernus. </strong>&nbsp;This campaign has very similar format to all previous campaigns of Neverwinter.  The Avernus campaign is the first Level 80 endgame campaign of neverwinter game. All the boons, gears, updates and dungeon cover up under the weekly cap very similar to previous campaigns.</p>



<p>We would love to suggest you to complete the basic campaign as soon as possible to unlock all boons and dungeon. So you can get new BIS gear for your toon as early as possible. You may need to farm heroic encounter a lot and yes, it&#8217;s worth for your character progression. <strong>More on this below in the post</strong></p>



<h2 class="has-text-align-center wp-block-heading"><strong>Stats Cap For Neverwinter Mod 18</strong></h2>



<p>As we expect with every mode, there would be a hike in stats requirement for new area, dungeon or campaign. So, Yes the required stats for new zone is around 5,000 higher than previous mode or trial TOMM. If you joined the game a few days back and yet to reach the end game content then these stats requirements gonna be a bit hard for you.</p>



<p>You can easily farm the zone and HE’s even with decent stats you are not supposed to reach any cap or threshold for this. But, if you really want to put your hands on new dungeon and want to farm it on a regular basis.then you may need to reach the required stats according to your role in the party and dungeon.&nbsp;</p>

Now it&#8217;s time to talk about other valid stuff related to Mod 18- <strong>Infernal Descent</strong>, like it’s zone, enemies, dungeons and how to prepare yourself for neverwinter mod 18. We are going to share some tips so you can easily face all the enemies of new zones in mod 18.&nbsp;</p>



<ol><li>We would like to suggest you to begin with Expeditions. So, go and start farming ME’s and WE’s as much as possible with all your character. And grab high item level gear from all expeditions with all of your characters.&nbsp;<br><br>It&#8217;s always good to have plenty of gears to fine tune your stats in future even with high item level gear.&nbsp; You should always target to get gear for your character and companion also. If you do not have high iLvL gears for companion then you should get it before launch date of Mod 18 to optimize your stats at best.&nbsp;</li><br><br><li>It&#8217;s worth your time to farm HE’s in new zone as they have chance to drop pretty decent gear. So, you should always go and farm HE’s to get gears with decent stats and high iLvL. (specially just go after bosses and hunts)<br><br></li><li>Mod 18 is going to be all about <strong>Elven Battle Enchantment. </strong>So, try to grab one high level elven enchantment if you don’t own one. Mod 18 is full of CC effects and to handle those nasty stun and effects. You may think about Elven Battle Enchantment. We would love to suggest you get one high level Elven Enchantment even if you are dps as it will provide you even more damage.&nbsp; <br><br>

It was inevitable it would happen sooner or later, but it&#8217;s really very disappointed stuff that they did not add any new set as replacement. Definitely, that is going to affect large players database.&nbsp;<br><br>There are few alternatives like Arcturia set, Trobriand set, Apocalypse set and ToO set. You can still use orcus set as primary source or damage buff but its not gonna work as before and would not outperform other sets. I would like to suggest you to go for Arcturia Set.<br><br></li><li>As discussed earlier, you need to farm expeditions a lot to get high iLvL gears for your character or may be for companions. Along with that you would also target to get Arcturia set even if you own one. <br><br>As we know orcus set just got a big hit (from 20% to 10%) which makes arcturia set is one of the best sets for dps in game.&nbsp;It has already crossed 1 million prices in auction house, so, simple as it just go and farm expeditions as much as you can because arcturia set may reach the skyrocket price with launch of mod 18.<br><br></li><li>Start campaign ASAP. It will provide plenty of upgrades for your character in no time. Farm heroic encounters on a regular basis, unlock dungeon before boons. It will provide you plenty of stuff. (Don’t run after boons earlier)<br><br></li><li>Last but not least hunting, if you do not know then let us inform you that after the skip in Mod 15, Mod 16 and Mod 17 from hunting its back in Mod 18. Hunting was always an awesome part of neverwinter world. And most of the time community always welcome hunting either its in chult or in barovia. <br><br>You are supposed to get an awesome piece of gear from hunts with guaranteed drop rate this time. Though monster spawn ratio would be a pain in the ass as developer love to implement it in this way <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f600.png" alt="😀" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />&nbsp;</li></ol>



<p class="has-text-align-center"><strong>Some Other Important Facts and Tips about Mod 18 Infernal Descent</strong><br></p>



<ol class="wp-block-list"><li>New campaign is a bit interesting as compared to previous campaigns. You still need to wait for few days to start getting campaign currency after cap. However, this campaign is not boring, tedious and grindy at all. You can easily reach weekly cap within a few hours.&nbsp;</li><li>You should always farm HE’s because it may drop BiS gears for specific class and role.&nbsp;</li><li>Mod 18 seems very small and short. It will be hard to keep players busy until mod 19. That may be gonna hurt a lot to developers of the game.</li><li>There is no specific update on professions and master work gears. This mod also lacks new gears and companions.&nbsp;</li><li>To be really, new dungeon seems bit easier as compare to ToMM but still its not worth the time as rewards does not seem to be effective at all.</li><li>Still, CW, HR and TR are BiS when it comes to DPS. Warlock class still feels way weak&nbsp; compared to other classes.&nbsp;</li></ol>

E.g previously you can complete CODG even without Tank. or some of the players completed CODG just with single healer in a group with ease. But in ToMM you need everything at BiS like healer, dps and tank. Let me explain it in a bit more detail.</span></p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><b>Class Stats and Roles&nbsp; For ToMM</b></h3>



<p><b>DPS- </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">I have already mentioned required stats to ToMM guide for DPS in above table such as power, arp, crit etc but still the most important factor to do heavy damage for dps is power. We have different stages for DPS to complete ToMM with optimum powers.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Basically you need minimum, 160k power to survive in ToMM and do some notable damage. I would like to suggest you to reach up 184k power asap to make ToMM an enjoyable run and do some massive damage. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Damage always depends on playstyle of the player, knowledge of class and understanding of concerned content like dungeon or trial.&nbsp; But still, Wizards and Rouge still has a slight edge over other class. On a personal note, Barbarian is still a meh for me.(you can ignore this if you do not like this at all)</span>.</p>

<p><strong>Tank-&nbsp;</strong>This class role will be a huge point of talk in ToMM. But let me tell you a thing, this time each and every class is viable to do ToMM. Either it&#8217;s Fighter or Paladin or even Barbarian too. Well, I personally think barbarian has less defensive skills in his arsenal as compared to paladin and fighter. <p>You need to work on your defense and critical avoidance before anything else.&nbsp; For sure, hit points are the most important stat to work on lonely. But, Kindly reach the cap for defensive stat and critical avoidance then left over in hit points to reach out the maximum amount of health. Being a tank you should always try to reach minimum 700k Hp and around 840k hp for optimum use. You can easily cross this mark with latest gears, different buffs and bonuses.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mechanics of Trial and Boss Fight</span></h2>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we already discussed Tower of Mad Mage is the most ruthless, merciless and steely content till now. This trial does require you to understand the special mechanics to wrap up the area. I’ll explain every bit of information, fight and mechanics with straightforward examples.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This trial needs 10 players in all to participate, grouped as healer, tank and dps. 2-3 healers, 2-3 tanks and 6-7 dps to edge over the mage himself Halaster Blackcloak. He is the most menacing, threatening, treacherous; savage, wild and desperate boss of neverwinter world. He basically do different kinds of elemental damages like fire, lightening, cold along with different attacks as well. <p><b>Tower of Mad Mage Phase 1 :-&nbsp;&nbsp;</b></p>



<p><b>As I already said in the previous paragraph, </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Halaster uses different kind of elemental damage during the fight. So, In the first phase of fight, Boss will pick up one of elemental power randomly.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you get the boss health to 80% he actually starts the first phase and pick up one of the elemental power in a very odd way.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">And when HP drops to 60% then it will pick up the second elemental power from the remaining two.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><b>Note: Halaster will pick any elemental powers like fire, cold and light randomly. There is no pattern and order in selection of elemental power.&nbsp;</b></p>



<p><b>Tower of Mad Mage Phase 2 :-&nbsp;&nbsp;</b></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This phase can be counted as the easiest as well as one of the most difficult of the entire trial. As it does check the power and damage of the entire party. At the beginning, the entire platform will become very small in size with massive fire all over the place. But there will circle over player to protect them from Halaster’s attack.</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Halaster will grow his size to enormous. And will try to destroy the circle with his bare hands. You just need to hit his hands as hard as possible. It seems very easy and simple as you just need to drop his hp to zero to end this phase.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><b>Tower of Mad Mage Phase 3:-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</b></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is literally the most complex and impenetrable phase of the entire trial. Well, it will start with death from above. So, Simple enough, all of you guys should move to one location of the platform all together(very similar to the way you guys do in LoMM against worm fight.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In this phase, Halaster will be using elemental damage again but this time fight will be a bit more complicated. So, your entire group need to be more aware and accurate&nbsp; while dealing with Halaster. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">First one is known as Single Elemental Phase where he will be using single elemental power in different intervals. And that interval would depend on the health of the boss. He will use different elemental power according to these health portions:&nbsp;</span></p>



<ol class="wp-block-list"><li><span style="font-weight: 400;">100%-90% HP.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight: 400;">90%-80% HP.</span></li><li><span style="font-weight: 400;">80%-70% HP.</span></li></ol>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But remember there will not be proper sequence for the elemental power. Like, he can use light, cold or fire any one of them between 100-90% HP. Let&#8217;s take an example and Suppose, he used light between 100-90% HP then by next level from 90-80% he will never use light again. This time he will pick one of power from fire and cold. And if he uses fire then last one from 80 to 70% he will be using cold only.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the Dual Element Phase he will use powers from combinations of 2 elements. Everything is the same as above but this time Halaster will use combo of elemental powers, like fire and cold, cold and light and so on. The switch points between combinations are at these thresholds:</span></p>



<ol class="wp-block-list"><li><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;70%-55% HP. The phase begins when Halaster says, “That was just a warm up.”</span></li><li><span style="font-weight: 400;">55%-40% HP. The phase begins when Halaster says, “This is beginning to get interesting.”</span></li><li><span style="font-weight: 400;">40%-25% HP. The phase begins when Halaster says, “Perhaps you are worthy foes after all.”</span></li></ol>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Last but not least, All elemental phase, he will use all of elemental powers all together.&nbsp; This is the final phase of the fight which procs from 25%-10% HP. This phase repeat the entire fight from beginning once again. Halaster will be using Single Elemental Power until 10% HP then switch the power again.&nbsp; Halaster will also use dual elemental power when he sucks up the HP to 70% again. He will use a combination of powers from any of 2 elements and will never use the combination previously used. When the boss reaches 25% HP then last all elemental phase will start. where he uses rotations combining all 3 powers with electrified floor, dark blue, red and purple rings, firebombs etc.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Remember, you have only 12 minutes to complete the trial. if anyhow, u would not be able to finish it off then simply it means reset.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><b>Tower of Mad Mage Phase 4:- &nbsp; </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Short and simple when halaster reached 10% HP it starts last and final phase of the trial phase 4. He will use fireburst, downburst, 2x Disintegration Wave, Hypothermia + 2x Eruption and sunfall finally.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the end, I can say that Tower of Mad Mage is really an extremely powerful and extraordinary stuff rom neverwinter developers. I even agree with the point that this guide still needs lots of improvement like different phase powers, sections, buffs, debuffs, explanation of all fire, light, and cold powers in detail. I will update the guide accordingly as soon as i get enough understanding of all powers and procs.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">ToMM is one of the best content of neverwinter if you really like challenges but if you do follow only easy content then that might not be suitable for you. I believe most of the players play neverwinter for it’s tough mechanics and complexity. And last but not least i would love to inform you that the rewards in ToMM is worth 200%. Previously, you might just disappointed with reward chest of LoMM but it&#8217;s worth when it comes to ToMM.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Halaster Blackcloak</strong> hits very hard and comes with very hard mechanics which needs 18 to 20 cross checks to crack from each kind of class. So, it&#8217;s going to be very hard for you guys inside ToMM. get ready face wraith and powerful strike of Halaster Blackcloak. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>New Player Race: Gith</strong> &nbsp; Here you after a long wait of years there is new race called Gith in neverwinter. You will be helping Gith community in Neverwinter Mod 17 Along with that you can also be one of them by creating new character with New Player Race Gith. (or you can reroll race) More detail on unlocking Gith will be posted soon.</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Appearance System:</strong> There is complete overhaul of fashion module of Neverwinter in Mod 17. There is a new appearance tab just after the character tab. Now, We can use new library of dye and colors to alter the overall look of our character. We can modify each and every piece of gear with new color combinations.&nbsp;</span></p>

Some of the vets might not agree and love the way they modify the entire game in mod 16 but previous mod did a great job to grab the attention of new players in the community. And in Neverwinter Mod 17 Uprising they just added one more step to it and retouch the early game content from core.</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Protector&#8217;s Enclave Remodeling</strong>: They are saying that Lord Neverember invested more gold in Protector Enclave. We have new sky, improved texture, new overhaul designs in protector&#8217;s enclave. In Neverwinter Mod 17 Uprising, we have good amount of drop for companion gears from Expeditions of Mod 17. These gears have crazy stats like 12k Combat Advantage and 1010 iLvL. There are around 36 new gears on at the time of writing mod 17 guide.&nbsp;</span></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><b>Best Team Formation For LoMM</b></h2>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we already know, Neverwinter is basically team/party collaboration online rpg&nbsp; game based on dungeon and dragon universe. Where we need to make party of Damage Dealers, Tank and Healer. </span><b>LoMM Guide</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> is likely to follow the same footsteps of classical D&amp;D universe. Basically, we need 3 DPS, 1 Tank and 1 Healer. Almost all kinds of DPS classes are viable if you reach out the optimal stat cap.</span></p>



<p><b>Note: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cleric seems to be best healer in LoMM. Tank class really does not matter but still we would love to go with Fighter because of his single target tanking viability. <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Dungeon Mechanics and Boss Fight of LoMM</span></h2>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we already know, LoMM is very complex dungeon but mob phases of LoMM is bit easier as compare to boss fights.&nbsp; We do not require to follow any special mechanics to wash out the mob. LoMM has a lot more tough enemies with specific types of attacks, stuns, shocks etc. So, you must wait for tank to grab an aggro before making your way toward mob <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />&nbsp;</span></p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><b>LoMM Guide On First Boss Fight &#8211; “Arcturia”</b></h3>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Arcturia is the first and the most strenuous boss of Lair of Mad Mage. She has the most complicated, convoluted and circuitous mechanics of entire dungeon. The fight goes very smooth and simple with Arcturia alone, But it gets very complicated when she opens her arsenal of attacks with mimics and cocoons. <p><b>Mimics:&nbsp; </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">So, fight begins with tank grab an aggro against arcturia. and all other party members need to get involved with their predefined responsibilities.</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When party take down arcturia&#8217;s health around 75% then she spawns mimics from all four corners. all of them spawn with different color from different corner which enhances their health bar from weak to strong respectively.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let&#8217;s try to perceive it more, as propounded above each corner spawn mimics with different hp and movement speed&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">e.g. &#8220;Mimic from yellow corner usually carry more health and very good movement speed&#8221; and a &#8220;Mimic from green corner usually comes with low hp and slow speed&#8221;</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">To deal with this situation, We need to follow proper mechanism. Like: all of the dps should take care of each corner alone and Tank+Healer should go for green corner.</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The best damage dealer (DPS) of the party should take down the mimics from yellow corner as it has a lot more hp and speed as compared to others. Same goes with green, As we know mimics from green corner has less hp and movement speed So, Tank and Healer should take it down together. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></span></p>



<p><b>Cocoons: </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;Well, When&nbsp; you finished the mimics phase, There will be an another superlative attack from Arcturia. She randomly picks one of the players from party and turn him/her into red cocoon.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Simply and in short, This phase simply is unreservedly dedicated to HEALER only. if you do not have very good healer then it will be almost impossible to pass this phase.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Anyway, it can be too easy if you really know what you need to do. So, To deal with this tough situation cocooned player should type &#8220;c&#8221; in chat window that all party members can go away from him and healer should heal them all. <h3 class="wp-block-heading"><b>LoMM Guide On Second Boss Fight &#8211; “BoreWorm”</b></h3>



<p><b>IF</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> you guys have been doing Undermountain campaign lately. Then we assure you that you very much familiar with Bore Worm. But in LoMM Guide, Bore Worm comes with different powers, attacks and in bit powerful form. Though we urge to identify The Bore Worm&nbsp; as easiest boss of “Lair of Mad Mage” This boss has two phases as well.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><b>Phase 1:</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Very similar to Arcturia, Bore Worm fights also goes in to different phases at 75% health and 50% respectively. As we already discussed, this is the easiest boss of </span><b>LoMM Guide</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">. So, it starts with face to face fight with BoreWorm and he starts with placing a Red Circle on players, and remember that Red Circle will push DOT (Damage Over Time) over targeted player.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Well, When you take down his health to 70% then there will be lots of boulders falling from above on the ground. The Bore Worm pull each and everything towards him in the middle which includes all players, party members, boulders, rocks, pieces and everything.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So, you need to escape that pull from worm and try not to reach in the middle (if you unable to escape the pull it means insta death) even team mates can’t revive you. Your last hope would be life scroll only.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">But there is a catch, along with escaping the pull you need to kill and destroy all boulders so they can’t reach middle. <p><b>Phase 2:</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp; After the first phase of pulling and boulders now Bore Worm come out with massive charge attack. In this phase you just need to survive and survive, This phase is all about HEALER again, if you do not have good healer then you just can not pass it away.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bore Worm is immune to all kinds of attack in this phase as we have mentioned earlier, you just need to survive in this phase. So, have a look at overcharge and undercharge bar of Bore Worm. you just need to gather the entire party and stand near the entry gate. Bore Worm will give you massive discharge attacks but cleric will save the ass of entire party. When charge bar vanished away then Bore Worm can be attacked again.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At 50% health bore worm will spawn boulders again with golems. Well, the best tip we can give is to avoid golem and finish boulders as soon as possible. You just do not need to attack golem at this stage. Then literally worm will come out again with electric discharge attack with heavy aoe attack very similar to first stage. But this time golems will follow you up to gate and you need to kill as many as golem at that stage.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Second to that on the other side, when discharging phase goes off, the boss will kill all the pending golem and that would be the end of this phase and now worm will no longer be immune and can be killed. So, kindly prepare yourself and finish him off.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><b>Tip: Failure to have boss kill at least one golem in that phase would result in another round of discharging phase. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />&nbsp;</b></p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><b>LoMM Guide On Last Boss Fight &#8211; “Trobriand”</b></h3>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This fight is all about tanking and for “</span><b>TANK</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">”. If you and your party got weak tank OR Tank does not know what he needs to do then there will be wipe within 10 seconds of time <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />&nbsp; So, Yes as </span><b>HEALER</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> in Bore Worm fight of LoMM Guide, TANK will be </span><b>Soul and God</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> of final boss fight of LoMM.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So, Just like all bosses, this fight also starts with face to face encounter with </span><b>Trobriand</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">. After some time he changes his gear and attack with first powerful push Electro Charge Attack. This attack is bloody powerful and can finish you off even with single hit. But Trobriand always do this attack on aggro holder and of course that should be tank or you (if you are TANK in the party)&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Each of this attack need to be aimed at 1 or maximum 2 scorpions that lay dormant around the arena. Hitting them with this attacks will awaken them one-by-one and Tank should aim trobriand’s attack towards inactive scorpions. DPS should finish them off as soon as possible. While tank should keep playing hide and seek with boss on the other side.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When the tank complete his task then Trobriand will go into the middle and perform a big AoE that will awake all unawakened scorpions. If you have already killed few of the scorpions then team will be facing maximum 2 scorpions at time. Which is actually very good sign towards completion of the LoMM Guide.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><b>Note: Scorpions actually hits harder than the boss so all dps focus on them while the tank “dance” with the boss</b></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now, you will feel it like reset and everything takes his position back as before. In short you need to complete the first phase one more time but with little bit powerful scorpions.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now once again Trobriand comes in the middle, open his arms and activating 4 pillars on 4 different corners. And this phase dps guys should work as quick as possible and finish those pillars quickly. Simple enough Period.</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When you just finished off the pillars, quickly head over back in center area on stone tile, because Trobriand will process massive electric damage in entire surface. You need to save yourself from this. You must have full life to escape this as Trobriand charge it more 250k damage. Lots of people are complaining about this mechanism as its really hard to pass because trobriand usually one hit the entire party except tank and healer some times.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tank shall protect the whole party at once. Each and every tank class does have such feature or power to protect entire party at once. For example Fighter can turn on Knight Valor to eat entire damage at once.&nbsp;</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Last but not least, another massive and powerful attack from trobriand. Tank buster again with one hand do massive amounts of damage on aggro holder. Ofcourse tank would work. Then dps shall kill him up before he start doing it again. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" />&nbsp;</span></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><b>Neverwinter Mod 16 Defensive Stats: </b></h2>



<p><b>Hit Points</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">: &nbsp;This is core rating and most valuable stat when it comes to defense. Hit points works very similar to power as it has no cap like power. And this is really suggested to get as much as hit points as you can as soon as possible. Though Hit Points are not only one kind of stat to focus on for defensive and tank build. There are many more defensive stats comes into play. We are explaining them below in appropriate order of importance. </span></p>



<p><b>Defense</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">: This is simply the most important stat when it comes to defense as its simply a counter of armor penetration. &nbsp;The more numbers in this stats will alleviate the damage you take and it’s up to max 50% </span></p>



<p><b>Deflection </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">:</span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Well, Deflection is one of the important and impressive stat to increase all along with defense or without defense. If you are really going to work on Tank then we would love to suggest you to reach cap for both defense and deflect. Earlier days of neverwinter, deflect builds are not so common and famous all along as compared to defense build but now things seems to be change and take place in other way. </span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we already know the opposing rolls and their working we must have to counter the enemies accuracy as much as possible and that is only possible when you really max out the deflect at cap. If you have more deflect in your arsenal you will have a lot more chance to deflect an attack which caps at 50% like defense. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> </span></p>



<p><b>Critical Avoidance </b></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we already discussed above Critical avoidance is opposed by critical chance. Let’s try to make it easy with an example, you just need enough critical avoidance to counter the Critical Chance of the opponents (according to different area and level) including their base 5% chance </span></p>



<p><b>in this case 60000 + 5000 or 65000 . Anything above that is wasted. </b></p>



<p><b>Awareness </b></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Awareness counters the Combat Advantage rating, this is really bit of complicated stat to work with. You are not supposed to cap it for each and every scenario in the game. Because combat advantage and awareness works differently and according to the situation like; if you are doing elol dungeon with party. Then as tank you may need to cap awareness to face all mobs and twin Scorpio to counter their combat advantage over you. </span></p>



<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">So, it simply means whenever you are going to face more than one opponent they will definitely have combat advantage over you and to counter that you need to get awareness at high rating. But similarly at same dungeon while facing final boss of elol “</span><b>Lostmauth</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">” there will be no combat advantage and in this scenario awareness does not matter and you can easily skip this stat in such situation. &nbsp;</span></p>



<p><b>Tip : </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">To maintain awareness the rating against mobs and boss, you may need to carry different stats in character sheet. <p>So, as mentioned in above table we shall always try to reach the cap for each stat and max out every stat to make out our build a pure brute force in each and every corner of the game.&nbsp; But there are some exceptions like we get natural 5% armor penetration so can we target 5k less ?
