There is a new base-building game on the market, oops it’s a survival game with RPG elements. Smalland: Survive the Wilds has a rich crafting, levelling and upgrading system for the players. This game has a rich story and can be finished in a specific time. Well, along with all of that let me introduce the game named Smalland: Survive the Wilds which is in early access and has many more features than a normal survival game.
You will build a base, and survive a creepy night from attack, special monsters or enemies, and nature. Yes, nature is also kind of your enemy in the game. You need to survive rain, wind, storm etc accordingly but in this post we are going to talk about the ways to get and unlock all armour in Smalland: Survive the Wilds.
The earlier stage of the game seems a bit hard as you will encounter plenty of bugs, insects, and spiders regularly. You may encounter giant and big enemies too that will be harder and harder for you to face and tank them all the time. So, if you want to protect yourself from different damage and attack then surely you need armour to mitigate the damage.
There are different types of armor available in the Smalland Survive the Wilds. There is a different and very unique approach to creating and obtaining armor in Smalland Survive the Wilds. You can craft weapons on the workbench but if you want to craft armor then you need to contact and talk with NPC for a specific armor. There are even plenty of NPCs available in Smalland Survive the Wilds and all of them helps to craft different kind of stuff and armor.
You also need to gather and obtain the required material to craft a specific armor. So, here is a challenge and a bit of a tedious task you need to check out each armour, the required material to craft it, associated NPC and perks and abilities.
I’m going to provide you with all the information below table so you can obtain all information in one place. This table contains the name of the armor, required material, NPC and perks.

as you can see in the above table, there are plenty of different armours available in the Smalland Survive the Wilds. And there is plenty of good armor also available like Bone armor, Formic Armor and Regal Armor perform way better.
Backer Stone Armor works very well in the initial stage of the game as it requires obtainable material in the early stage of the game. Backer comers with movement speed penalty too so you should mind the drawback also before picking this as the main armor in the early stage.
Though Ironwing is simply the best armor of the Smalland Survive the Wilds Game. It provides around +8 protection (the highest in the game right now) You can craft Ironwing armor from Nok an NPC in Smalland Survive the Wilds and he will be available late in the game. But still don’t forget to gather Fiber, Heavy Chitin, Insect Fur, Iron Ingot, Charcoal, and Sapphire Wings as all of them are required to unlock and craft ironwing armor.
